BioWho am I?
That's a question that to most seems nearly impossible to answer. Maybe it can't be answered, not really. I am the product of fluid change. While most people have a ground to stomp on, things that will remain forever rooted in their being, I don't really have that. It seems that from one day to the next I'm different. My opinions change with the wind and so I'm as inconstant as I care to be.
So who is he that changes?
I am a viewer of perspectives more than anything else. That's what allows me to be so malleable. I look at things as a series of scenarios and try to see everything from every point I can think of. Consequently, I think way more than a person probably should hehe. The negative side to that is that I'm rarely surprised... but in the end, that just makes surprises more important.
Honestly, if you were to attempt to trait me, you would in the end just look at everybody I know. I am truly a conglomeration of the people around me. I'm such a weird mixture of styles and ideas and passions that I apparently don't have a personality ;-) Which, in turn, means that I can get along with just about everybody.
I'm extremely contemplative, and to me there's no question that shouldn't be thought about at some point. I love understanding things. I've practically lived for the concept of understanding. It drives me in my quest for knowledge. And by that, I don't mean just scholastic knowledge, I mean everything. I like to understand people, religion, the world, nature, humanity, love, emotion, dreams... you name it. I'll talk about pretty much anything with anyone, because to me that's helping me learn.
I love conversations.
I'm irrational, and emotional, which is unusual for a guy, but at the same time, I have the cool logic and rationality that the male gender is known for. I choose to use them at different times, and often I start out with one and end up with the other. I think that that has a lot to do with the way I look at things, and the way I want to present myself. To me, emotion is very important. I've known far too many people who've hidden what I think makes life interesting. I like to feel things, and I don't want people to question how I feel. So emotion is a large part of who I am.
I love people.
There is no doubt that people are one of the most important, if not the most important, things in my life. I love people. I love talking with them, I love being with them, I absolutely love entertaining them (which I'm notorious for), I love helping them, I just love them.
I love creativity and creation.
I love writing.
Writing is more important to me than I could possibly express through its execution. I love to write. It is simply what I do. I plan to be an english major because of that love. I like to write poetry a lot, and really anything. Along with this, probably even more than writing, I just like language. I like words and their interactions. I like arguments because they're based in a logic governed by language. All of that is very fascinating to me, and it comes out a lot when you talk with me.
I love music.
Music is poetry in motion. I love words, so how can I not love the meshing of two great art forms? Music is a gigantic part of my life, rather unnaturally so. I listen to music regardless of what I am doing, and it is pretty much always playing in my house. Also, I tack movies onto things that I really enjoy. I'm a movie nut, and have watched far too may to ever list. My music collection is as varried as you get, and goes from rap to the Beatles to Frank Sinatra. heh I've been nicknamed the music dictionary because of my knowledge of songs and bands.
I love life.
In the end, I could never fit everything I'd want to say in here. There's far too much to say, because there's so much to this life. If you truly want to define me, I guess the best way to go about doing it would be to just say I'm passionate. I live with a passion and hunger to be alive that is very uniquely mine.
I'm passionate about words, music, friends, conversations, love, imagination, creativity, desire, understanding, dreams, the weather, all the little things...
Ultimately, all I'm really trying to say is that, though It's hard to say who I am, it's easy to tell that
I am simply in love with life.
